A Pink and White affair

Hello lovelies

I know I promised a hair post and I am working on that. Hair posts take a lot more structured writing and this takes time.

 So while I was in Swaziland I got to attend a baby shower for one of my closet friends. The dress code was pink and white and the theme was Minnie mouse.It was my first time going to a baby shower but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The venue  was beautiful, the games were so much fun , the company was amazing and the mother to be ( who is now a mother) was just radiant.

For the amazing day I wore:  white high waist trousers and a racer back crop top. This was very daring for me as a lot of midriff was on display. I paired my ensemble with a varying shades of pink maxi kimono and a pair of  heeled pink strapy sandals from ASOS that morphed into white flat-form sandals from Primark as the day progressed. My pom pom hair band  from ASOS ( isn't it cute?) and I wore my hair in thee best bantu knot out ever.

I will leave you with these words today. Don't be afraid to try something different or new. I wasn't ver sure about wearing a crop top but I did and I love the results. I just found a way for it to work for me (aka I wore a maxi kimono with it).
