Channeling My inner 1950s Goddess.

 Hello lovelies

I know . I know. It's been more than a week. I am currently living on a no WiFi diet. Why? I am in the process of moving house , sorting out my life and trying to be an independent grown woman.

You guys know I live for vintage and thrifted goodies.

My outfit today is centered around this gorgeous pencil skirt. I got this vintage pencil skirt last year. It was only £1.95 I think. It is very warm and it flatters my figure. It also makes me feel very 1950s. The 1950s were all about being ultra feminine, chic and glamorous. The pencil skirt as we know it today was popularised in the 50s.The brogue wedges give the out fit that modernised vintage edge. Vintage because of the brogue style modern because it's a wedge.

I wore this particular combo on a dreary day. It cheered me up a bit. All the colours, prints and babbles. What more can a girl ask for? Sometimes you need to dress yourself into a good mood.

I believe I am living up to my new years goals :wearing heels during the day . Yes , yes. Although some of you may not consider wedges heels. I do. For me they are the most difficult type of shoe to wear.

What I am wearing

Skirt: Vintage (thirfted)
Fluffy jumper ( Mr Price)
Wedges : Henry Holland
Bag : Zara
Jewlery: Legit, Newlook and RiverIsland

Well I hope you enjoyed this post. I will be keeping you guys as updated as I can. Having no WiFi or photographer will not hold this girl back.

I love era dressing. Might have to look into doing a 1950s modernised Lookbook?

I hope you have a lovely day and weekends.

Love Tiwi

SS14 Let's go Wild

Hello everybody. The t-shirt pretty much speaks for the outfit.  Today's post is a two in one outfit. Well more like a 'how to switch up your outfit, by changing your shoes'. This outfit is very bright with a lot of popping colours. I am in two minds about it. I like it because it's out of my comfort zone ( with it being tight fitting and all).

I think this outfit is pretty straight forward : t-shirt, bright pencil skirt, bright bag and trainers or heels. The key is to go for bright colours.

You will be seeing in the next few weeks that I am falling in love with trainers and plimsolls. I find them a bit more comfortable than always wearing flats which have been killing my feet lately.

What I am wearing:
Skirt : River Island
Top: Select
Bag: Zara
Trainers : Newlook
Heels : H&M
Sunglasses and Necklace : Primark
